Job Description

We collaborate with several boutique immigration law firms in the metro Atlanta area, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services and compassionate support to individuals, families, and businesses navigating the complex U.S. immigration system. These firms are committed to making a tangible difference in their clients' lives and are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Forms Specialists to join their teams.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Forms Specialist who will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and review of various immigration forms and documents. This role is crucial to our firm's success, as it ensures the accuracy and completeness of all client filings with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of immigration procedures, an exceptional eye for detail, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review a wide range of immigration forms, including but not limited to, applications for Adjustment of Status (I−485), Naturalization (N−400), and petitions for family-based and employment-based visas.
  • Gather and organize all necessary supporting documentation from clients.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks on all forms and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with the latest government regulations.
  • Utilize immigration case management software to maintain detailed and accurate client records.
  • Communicate with clients to collect information, clarify details, and provide updates on their cases.
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with the assembly of comprehensive filing packages.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws, policies, and form requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years prior experience in an immigration law office, legal services organization, or a similar environment is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of USCIS forms and procedures is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A strong sense of empathy and a commitment to client service.
