Job Description

Human Resources Generalist

eLoghomes, a leading national marketer and manufacturer of log home kits, is seeking a professional Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The position is based at our headquarters in Nash County, NC. This is a growth-oriented national company with a differentiated approach to sales, marketing, and installation service vs. the industry.

This role will lead and manage all company HR processes, ensuring organizational compliance, and fostering a positive work environment, while also overseeing day-to-day office administration.

The position reports directly to the President & CEO .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the human resources processes of the company. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal HR policies and responsible for the employee handbook.
  • Administer weekly payroll in coordination with a third-party payroll provider.
  • Oversee benefits programs, including liaison responsibilities with insurance and service providers, and in coordination with the Finance team.
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment, interview coordination, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle changes in employment status, and terminations.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote employee engagement and reinforce the company’s core values and culture.
  • Assist in developing employee training and development plans in collaboration with department managers.
  • Lead the annual company-wide Performance Review process.
  • Plan and promote culture-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Track and manage employee vacation, PTO, and leave balances.
  • Prepare and deliver regular HR-related reports to leadership as needed.
  • Provide administrative support and handle various additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Team player and strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
