Heavy Truck Mechanic job at Gpac Modesto, CA, US

Job Description

We are working with a major retail heavy truck repair company iwho is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot and diagnose repair needs
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Repair heavy trucks - mechanical, electrical systems, and drive train.
* Fabricating, welding, and building aftermarket upgrades as needed
* Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fuels, fluids, and lubrication
* Perform preventative maintenance on industrial hydraulic, electrical, air and water systems
* Perform and document inspections
* Follow all company and industry regulations and rules
* Occasional field service work

Experience & Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* 3+ years' experience of maintenance/service with heavy trucks
* Weldnig and fabrication experience
* Must be a team player with strong communication skills
* Must have a current Driver's License with a clean driving record
* CDL is a plus but not required

Compensation:

* $27 - $50 per hour
* Excellentt Benefits package
