We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to support our warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring efficient flow of products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment and understands the importance of safety, accuracy, and timeliness.
Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.) to move materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, or staging areas.
Supply production lines with raw materials or packaging components as needed.
Transport finished goods to storage or shipping areas.
Conduct routine pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and inventory locations.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Assist in general warehouse tasks, including manual handling, labeling, or cleaning as required.
Report damaged or defective materials or equipment to supervisors.
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to support continuous flow of materials.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid forklift operator certification/license (or willingness to obtain).
1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Basic math and inventory counting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
Knowledge of different forklift types (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, clamp truck).
