Event & Catering Cook – Taylor Made Cuisine (TMC)

📍 Irvine, CA | Serving Los Angeles & Orange County

We cater over 900 events a year — from weddings and corporate gatherings to private celebrations — and our cooks bring bold flavors, premium ingredients, and scratch-made quality to every table.

What You’ll Do

• Prep, cook, and plate food for events and off-site catering (corporate, weddings, private residences, and venues).
• Maintain top-notch food safety standards and follow state/local health guidelines.
• Ensure every dish reflects TMC’s recipes, portions, and presentation standards .
• Work with a collaborative team to set up, break down, and keep kitchen spaces clean and organized.
• Read and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event notes to execute menus.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and demonstrate strong knife skills.
• Adapt to fast-changing environments and deliver excellence under pressure.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years culinary experience
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, professional, and motivated to grow.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and work on your feet for long shifts.
• Valid California Food Handler’s Card and/or ServSafe Certification (or obtain within 14 days).
• Weekend availability is required (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday).
• Monday - Wednesday availability a plus.
