Job Title: Electronics Technician I

Location: Onsite – 20314 Seneca Meadows Parkway, Germantown, MD 20876

Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Technician I with 0–3 years of engineering or technical experience to support the testing, repair, modification, and evaluation of electronic components and systems. The ideal candidate will assist engineering teams by performing hands-on electronics testing, PCB rework, RF testing, and documentation activities essential for product development and reliability validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standard electronics testing using oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters (DVMs), spectrum analyzers, thermocouples, and other common test equipment.
• Conduct Printed Circuit Board (PCB) rework and soldering, including fine-pitch and miniature components (down to 0201).
• Assemble and disassemble electronic products, including Zebra devices, as required.
• Execute electrical and RF test procedures, follow established test plans, and record accurate results.
• Prepare test reports and communicate findings to engineering teams.
• Support engineering groups by troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and modifying electronic components and systems.
• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving electrical circuits, controls, and testing fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in all work processes.
• Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer) for reports, documentation, and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Electronics Testing: Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DVMs, spectrum analyzers, thermocouples, and similar tools.
2. PCB Rework/Soldering: Ability to rework and solder PCB components, including 0201 chip components; experience assembling/disassembling electronic hardware.
3. Electrical/RF Testing: Experience following test plans, executing RF test procedures, and preparing detailed test reports.

Additional Qualifications

• 0–3 years of electronics/radio manufacturing or related technical experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with mobile radio technology, control panel construction, or similar equipment.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred; technical school certification acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; fast learner with hands-on aptitude.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and documentation skills.
