Job Description

A well-established company near the Hot Springs, AR area is seeking a Licensed Electrician to join their team! The best person for the position will have a solid experience managing all aspects of electrical work and you will have strong experience with PLC's. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders
• Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy
• Follows all Company established rules and policies
• Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience
• Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication
• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Previous electrical & mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
• Previous experience with Thermoforming machines preferred
• Knowledge of PLCs is required ; Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
• Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: (if applicable)

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods
• Frequently required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently
• Use of hands and arms to handle tools, operate machinery, and perform maintenance tasks with precision
• Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, dusty, or noisy areas
• Visual acuity to read technical documents, safety warnings, and perform detailed inspections
• Ability to respond to auditory signals, alarms, and verbal instructions
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the task
