Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Leasing Analyst to join our leasing team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting lease operations, analyzing contract terms, managing key lease data, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with contracts, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating across departments to support the full lease lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and abstract commercial lease agreements and amendments
  • Track critical lease terms including renewal options, escalation clauses, and key dates
  • Ensure compliance with lease obligations for both landlords and tenants
  • Maintain accurate lease data within lease administration and accounting systems
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and property management teams on lease-related issues
  • Support financial analysis related to rent schedules, operating expenses, and CAM reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for senior leadership
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding lease terms and contract interpretations
  • Help monitor and manage workflow for contract approvals, signatures, and filings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in lease administration, real estate analysis, or contract support
  • Strong working knowledge of lease contracts and basic legal terminology
  • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables; familiarity with data visualization tools a plus
  • Experience with lease or contract management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Lucernex) preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex information
