Construction Estimator / Project Manager (Hybrid – Charlotte, NC Area)

📍 Charlotte, NC & Surrounding Counties | 💼 Full-Time

We're looking for a motivated Construction Estimator / Project Manager with strong industry knowledge and a civil engineering background (or equivalent experience). If you thrive in a hybrid environment—balancing remote estimating with hands-on site management—this is the role for you.

🔨 What You'll Do:

• Analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Prepare accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for paving and asphalt projects
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and subcontractors from start to finish
• Oversee job site operations to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and engineers for smooth project execution
• Proactively identify project risks and implement solutions
• Maintain adherence to safety guidelines and construction best practices

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in reading plans and/or project management within the construction, paving, or asphalt industry
• Background in civil engineering preferred (or proven expertise in the industry)
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently (estimating) and lead teams on-site (project management)
• Willingness to put in the effort required to drive successful outcomes

• Projects are based within an hour of Charlotte (Mecklenburg and surrounding counties)
