Job Description

Our client is an actively engaged investment firm that applies a private equity approach to public markets, primarily focusing on small-cap technology companies. They leverage their deep private equity and sector expertise to assist small-cap technology companies in applying a private equity value-creation playbook within the public markets. Their objective is to partner with the companies they invest in to maximize value for all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this position will excel if they can keep their calm in a high pressure environment coordinating the logistics of the CIO and Lead Partner of the company. This role will be titled: Chief of Staff. Thus, the candidate should be detail oriented and a creative problem solver.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all logistics CIO related with leadership, internally and externally.
  • Manage outsourced service providers across the stack.
  • Improve monthly closing cycle for effective communication with LPs.
  • Manage digital presence, including website and login page creation.
  • Managing automated processes and Upwork freelancers across different time zones.
  • Desire for someone to handle investor relations and administrative functions.
  • Create structured process to review CRM and data analytics.
  • Manage automated processes and outsourced work teams.
  • Help with content creation and publication for marketing purposes.
  • Desire for candidate to be in office 3-4 days a week.
  • Experience with web applications like Affinity, Docs, and MailChimp preferred.
  • Python skills would be a huge positive, but not expected.
  • Candidate should be comfortable with transparent and open communication.
  • Ability to work 40-50 hour work week, but not always plugged in.
  • Potential for upward mobility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Preference for someone with startup or FinTech background
  • Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Communication skills, written/verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and keep information confidential
