As a mid-level corporate associate, you’ll advise on complex transactions across private equity, M&A, venture capital, and commercial deals—gaining real client access, cross-office responsibility, and the runway to grow into a lead advisor.
You’ll be joining a capital markets and corporate team that blends institutional dealmaking with a boutique’s flexibility. This is the kind of role where you’ll get in the weeds of negotiations, lead calls with founders and investors, and draft the documents that move markets—without getting lost in a mega-firm hierarchy.
Why This Role Catalyzes Your Growth
You’ll work across private equity, M&A, venture deals, and strategic joint ventures—often with direct access to C-suite stakeholders. Associates here are trusted early and given real ownership over commercial and corporate work.
The practice serves major players in media, tech, life sciences, and consumer goods—with transactions that range from growth capital infusions to strategic acquisitions and secondary sales.
You’ll be part of a department that works closely across offices and practices, giving you visibility and mentorship from senior attorneys without layers of red tape.
The team is high-performing but grounded. Partners invest in training, client contact is encouraged, and associates are trusted with responsibility at the pace they earn it.

About Whistler Partners
Matchmakers, Not Headhunters
Whistler Partners is a boutique matchmaking firm focused on counseling the best and the brightest attorneys over the course of their careers. We believe that the right move comes from working closely with talent to curate their long-term career paths. When it comes to career advice, what matters is not the size of the agency but the strength of your individual recruiter.
We readily admit that we are elite and only work with the best – after all, a little elitism is okay when it comes to your career. Employers love us because we are picky about whom we represent, and attorneys love us because we get them their dream jobs.
