Role : Business Solutions Analyst

Location Santa Clara CA (Onsite)

Duration : 1 Years

Note : Only W2 Candidates (no C2C and H1B)

THE ROLE:

Responsibilities:

  • Extend existing solutions and build new solutions on Palo Alto Network's licensing platform to enable New Product Introductions and support the needs of cross functional teams within IT and Product Engineering teams.
  • Work closely with NPI, IT architecture, licensing engineering and other cross functional teams to develop robust solutions that meet product requirements in line with the standards and direction of licensing platform
  • Own the delivery and quality of product specifications including requirements, project epics and user stories. Own product backlogs to drive continuous improvements and product capabilities and features. Provide clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with product managers from cross functional teams and ensure solutions are aligned across teams and adhere to specifications
  • Serve as a bridge among functions – Business, R&D, IT Architecture, Engineering, Quality Assurance – ensuring seamless product development. Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the product life cycle
  • Review QA test plans, ensure 100% test coverage, review testing progress, clarify requirements and expected behavior, collaborate with QA and dev teams for timely issue resolution
  • Validate the build against defined acceptance criteria
  • Act as a domain expert and go-to leader within the organization
  • Analyze case trends and engineering escalations to identify patterns, prioritize fixes, and influence the product backlog

Skills:

  • 8+ years of business solution analysis or product management experience in technology or IT, with some years in SaaS or subscription based business.
  • Experience with entitlement management systems, subscription lifecycle management, usage tracking and metering, billing models, integration with CRM, ERP, and billing systems
  • Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands on experience in software development, databases and SQL, cloud platforms, programming languages, and Microservices
  • Experience building products that leverage AI for natural language querying (NLQ), data quality & governance, automated insights, and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate requirements, solutions, and progress to diverse audiences. Proven ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Must be local to the SF Bay area to be onsite
