Job Description

Executive Assistant (Bilingual – Japanese/English)

Location: On-site – Irvine, CA

We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Executive Assistant fluent in Japanese and English to support our executive leadership team. This role requires exceptional communication skills, cultural fluency, and the ability to manage a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executives, including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation.
  • Translate documents and interpret conversations between Japanese and English as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence in both languages.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and international visits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a global or multicultural organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a Japanese corporate environment or with Japanese clients.
  • Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and communication styles.
