Job Description

Salary: 90,000 - 120,000 USD per year Requirements:

• AWS Enterprise Architect
• Location: Remote
• I have over 10 years of design, implementation, and/or consulting experience with distributed applications or systems architecture.
• I possess at least 5 years of experience with infrastructure/application architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• I have 3 or more years of relevant experience in technology/software consulting.
• I have experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• My presentation skills are strong, allowing me to comfortably communicate with internal and external executives, IT management, technical conferences, and development teams.
• I demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• I can continuously adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• I have exposure to micro-services architectures, data lake design, container orchestration platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• I am willing to travel up to 25% for customer locations and partner events.

Responsibilities:

• In partnership with the sales teams, I will formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and Cognizant offerings.
• As a key member of the business development and sales team, I will ensure success in modernizing and migrating applications, data, and IoT on AWS.
• I will educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of Cognizant offerings for AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure that solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• I will conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• I will capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Cognizant architect community.
• I will author or contribute to Cognizant blogs, whitepapers, and webinars.
• I will build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to become cloud advocates.
• I will act as a technical liaison between customers and delivery teams.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 yearly, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
