Accounting-Office Administrator

Location: Santa Maria, CA Starting Pay: $21-$25/hour DOE Schedule: M-F, Full Time/Part Time

Are you looking to join a team that values your skills and offers a path to grow your career? Select Staffing is hiring an Accounting-Office Administrator. This is a multifunctional position that encompasses a variety of administrative and financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle tasks related to Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Manage recurring payments and auto-pay setup for loans
  • Set up new jobs and contracts
  • Collect and submit subcontractor/vendor releases on schedule
  • Respond to payment requests and review contracts for insurance/billing compliance
  • Complete required forms and documentation
  • Organize and maintain files and records
  • Answer calls and assist with inquiries professionally
  • Provide administrative support across departments
  • Address customer service issues promptly
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents
  • Collaborate to improve office processes
  • Manage year-end file archiving and purging

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Office Administrator in Construction is preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in Accounts Payable (Construction a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using computer software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service with a focus on building positive relationships.
