First Rate Products and Managed Hosting are looking for a highly motivated Sales professional to generate new business and increase revenue for our solutions.

The job description is below, with the following focus:

  • Managing day-to-day revenue/sales activities focusing on installed and hosted target clients
  • Driving sales revenue and develop the pipeline and foundation for future growth. Targeting new business, both directly and indirectly
  • Managing processes for pipeline management, forecasting and strategic account development. Achieve sales activity targets for such things as face-to-face call frequency, demo activity, proposal activity, prospect calling, pipeline size and deal closure.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objective and effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

STRATEGIC WORK

  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets in enterprise software sales.
  2. Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
  3. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
  4. Present and demonstrate software solutions effectively to potential clients, addressing business needs and technical requirements.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to tailor solutions to client needs.
  6. Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance sales strategies.
  7. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports through CRM tools.

TACTICAL WORK

  1. Utilize the First Rate Solution Selling methodology and document all sales activities in the approved Client Relationship Management (CRM) system at least once every five business days.
  2. Plan and execute travel within the assigned territory efficiently, with an expectation of 5-10 business days per month , leveraging cost-effective travel solutions.
  3. Engage company and industry subject matter experts (SMEs) when addressing complex sales opportunities.
  4. Represent First Rate professionally in all interactions with clients, employees, partners, and competitors to enhance the company’s reputation.
  5. Make decisions aligned with First Rate values and policies while delivering exceptional customer service.
  6. Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including $2 million in recurring sales and securing 20 qualified prospects from the target client list.

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  2. Public speaking ability is a must
  3. Situational fluency and adaptability skills are required
  4. Proven sales experience in the financial services industry preferred
  5. A bachelor’s degree in finance or related areas is preferred, MBA a plus
  6. A CFA or CIPM certificate is a plus, but not required
  7. Demonstrated negotiation skills are a must
  8. Technological aptitude is very helpful
  9. 10 years minimum of direct sales experience
  10. Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate complex contracts, and close high-value deals.
  11. Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, SaaS, cloud solutions, or related technology.
  12. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  13. Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
