Jom kita tarik with Royel

The key to making the perfect cup of tea is water, steeping of tea for the right amount of time, and correct water temperature. A good time for tea to brew would be between 4 to 5 minutes to avoid tastelessness.

According to tea sommeliers, it’s always good to warm your teapot before making tea.
Paying homage to a Malaysian favorite considered as Malaysia’s unofficial national drink, known as Teh Tarik, here is all that you need to get started:

Ingredients

⦁ A liter of hot water
⦁ 2-3 tablespoons of condensed milk of your choice (adjust the sweetness to your own preference)
⦁ A tablespoon of evaporated milk of your choice
⦁ A pinch of salt

Start by setting your tea bag in hot water for 2-5 minutes before taking the tea bag out. Pour the tea into a cup containing the condensed milk. Top it up with some water, a spoon of evaporated milk followed by a pinch of salt and give it a good stir. Get two cups ready to start the pulling process, known as Tarik, just like its name. The pouring of the tea back and forth between two cups will create frothy bubbly effect. Do it about four times before serving.

And if you are craving for a cold drink, feel free to pop in some ice cubes to make a delicious, refreshing glass of Teh Ais instead! Memang besttt!
